What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Assistant Meals on Wheels Rochester position at Strafford Nutrition & Meals on Wheels?
Work Schedule: Monday-Tuesday-Thursday-Friday, approximately 8 am to 1 pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant to join our team. The Assistant will provide support to the manager to ensure efficient operations within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with packaging homebound meals and clean-up
- Assist with the serving of Congregate participants
- Supervise volunteers and other staff in the kitchen and on the service line
- Learning all driver routes to be able to Fill-in when needed
- Fill-in for managers where needed, including processing weekly paperwork
Skills:
- Must be dependable, flexible, and self-motivated
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Must have own transportation with a valid license and insurance.
