Work Schedule: Monday-Tuesday-Thursday-Friday, approximately 8 am to 4 pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manager of Program Operations to join our team. The Manager of Program Operations will be the liaison between the administrative team and our sites, ensuring efficiency and level standards across the organization. This individual will be responsible for training, supporting, and evaluating all site employees and ensuring standards are met across all sites in accordance with the organization's procedures and cleanliness protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Administration on hiring new drivers
- Train new Meal Driver’s and reassess regularly to ensure all policies and procedures are being followed.
- Retrain staff where needed and when necessary, bring in Admin staff for additional corrective action.
- Perform annual route checks on all delivery routes and take corrective action where necessary
- Work with all relevant coworkers on improving route structure where possible.
- Maintain a calendar of all site employee days off, etc. and make plans to ensure routes are covered in the event of absences or scheduled vacation time. The Manager of Program Operations will act as a backup for a driver or at a site in the event there are no other backup options available.
- Learns the basic delivery area of most routes throughout the agency (overtime) and periodically rides along just a review.
- Assist and support the training of new Site Managers and Site Assistants (developing with this position)
- Learns to support the site function at each location
- Completes an annual site assessment on each location, including working with Admin & Site staff on any issues revealed from such assessments.
- Performs periodic compliance spot checks verifying policies and procedures are being followed.
- Keep recordings of all compliance spot check findings and when needed follow through as needed.
- Develop a plan for visiting and building working relationships with each site and its staff.
- Develop a working rapport with site staff and act as a conduit between the sites and Admin staff on issues, concerns, positive outcomes, etc.
- Be familiar with office duties and able to fill in when requested by the Director
- Assist Managers with evaluating drivers and site assistants
- Assist Administration with evaluating Site Managers
- Assist with other duties as needed and requested by the Director.
Skills:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Food Safety Manager Certification
- Ability to adapt as needed to changing challenges and demands.
- Ability to relate and be relatable to a wide variety of people in a manner that will effectively produce positive outcomes desired
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing – with the ability to convey clear, concise, and direct instructions
- Ability to work in a professional manner adheres to rules as set by agency's policies and guidelines.
- Ability to adapt and multi-task as needed to support the administration needs as they arise
- Ability to self motivate and organize a workflow that will provide the desired results of the administration.
