Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead large, complex technology initiatives with significant organizational impact.
This role is ideal for a project leader who can bring structure to complex environments, anticipate risks and dependencies, align business and technical stakeholders, and provide leadership with clear recommendations that drive informed decisions.
The successful candidate will be highly proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of projects from planning through delivery.
This is an onsite role in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Local candidates only.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate multiple complex IT projects and programs with significant organizational impact.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, dependency tracking, and governance artifacts.
- Own projects through the full lifecycle, from planning and requirements through execution, delivery, and closeout.
- Understand business objectives, technical requirements, risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and delivery priorities.
- Proactively identify risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints and implement mitigation strategies before they impact delivery.
- Partner with business leaders, technical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to align priorities and drive successful outcomes.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and maintain alignment across business and technology teams.
- Provide clear project performance reporting and executive-level communications.
- Present options, tradeoffs, risks, recommendations, and solution paths to leadership to facilitate decision-making.
- Navigate ambiguity and bring structure, clarity, and actionable next steps to complex situations.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve project delivery and team productivity.
- Maintain ownership for delivery quality, project outcomes, and sustainable business value.
Required Qualifications
- 7 years of professional project management experience, including at least 3 years supporting information technology initiatives; OR 11 years of related business experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional technology projects or programs.
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and governance activities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across business, technical, vendor, and leadership groups.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate project status, risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Strong organizational, leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; substantial relevant experience may substitute.
