Launched in January of 2021, this business has established itself as Charleston's trusted local source for specialty linen rentals, servicing the Southeastern event industry and beyond. As an intern for Stradley Davidson, you will gain valuable hands on experience and exposure to the booming Charleston events industry, along with insight into entrepreneurship while working side by side with the founders on this local startup. In this all-encompassing role, the opportunity can be tailored to best fit your areas of interest and career goals, and will be sure to provide networking and career development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Gain understanding of the event industry and make connections with event professionals
- Work with Sales team to communicate with clients on rental needs and event logistics
- Assist with new order entry and quote revisions through Goodshuffle Pro software
- Assist Marketing team with managing Stradley Davidson social media platforms, expanding social media presence, and increase engagement
- Manage and gather all social media and event content, organizing through Stradley Davidson iCloud
- Assist Marketing team with updating and maintaining Stradley Davidson websites and improving SEO
- Assist with Swatch Box execution and distribution
- Support Sales and Scraps teams with client experience, retail sales, and showroom presence
- Work closely with Operations Coordinator on order fulfillment
- Assist with sorting, organizing, and handling of inventory on a day to day basis
- Work with Founders on daily tasks and special projects
Requirements
- Previous hospitality experience
- Strong communication skills
- Self-starter
- Detail oriented
- Highly organized

- Must be available one weekend per month for retail pop-up events
