The Power Platform Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents) to support business process automation, data visualization, and application development. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, IT teams, and end-users to translate business needs into scalable digital solutions that enhance productivity and drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Development:
- Design and develop Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven) to digitlize business processes.
- Create and manage workflows using Power Automate for process automation.
- Build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Develop intelligent chatbots using Power Virtual Agents.
- System Integration:
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Dataverse, Azure, Dynamics 365, and third-party systems via APIs and connectors.
- Support & Maintenance:
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing solutions.
- Provide training and documentation to end-users and stakeholders.
- Governance & Best Practices:
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security, and governance.
- Apply best practices in performance tuning, scalability, and lifecycle management.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and project managers.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Power Platform.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Microsoft certifications such as:
- PL-100: Power Platform App Maker
- PL-200: Power Platform Functional Consultant
- PL-400: Power Platform Developer (preferred)
- PL-600: Power Platform Solution Architect (optional)
- Proven experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Dataverse, Dynamics 365, and SharePoint Online.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

- Experience with Agile and DevOps practices
- Understanding of application lifecycle management (ALM) in Power Platform
