What are the responsibilities and job description for the AC Apprentice position at Strada Services LLC?
Job Summary:
The AC Apprentice / Helper will assist installers on various HVAC projects assigned by project foreman or leader.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation of various AC systems, both indoor and outdoor.
- Perform duties assigned by the project foreman or leader in a timely manner.
- Install and bend EMT, PVC, GRC, and other conduit and cable systems.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and ladders.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn the trade.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the assigned job site throughout the greater Orlando area.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Must be able to pass a full background check and drug test.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous electrical experience is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Physically able to work with heavy tools and equipment at heights.
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds at a time to carry heavy cable.
