StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst, Senior in Patuxent River MDto support a Major NAVAIR Acquisition/Operations contract. The Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst, Senior will be responsible for but no limited to the following requirements.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $116,000.00 - $149,402.00. Essential Job Duties
- Supports and drafts program milestone related documentation to ensure compliance with all aspects of the DoD and SECNAV 5000 series directives.
- Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as APs, ASRs, PIDs, SOW/PWS, funding documents, CDRLs, and APBA.
- Assesses program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements.
- Attends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards.
- Maintain knowledge and awareness of acquisition documentation requirements and advise the Government Acquisition Lead regarding changes or delays in approval cycles or documents that are no longer current.
- Perform the research, development, review, analysis, revision, routing and tracking of acquisition documentation for Government review and approval, to include DoD 5000.02 documentation:
- Justification and Approvals (JandA)
- Program Decision Memorandums (PDM)
- Acquisition Category (ACAT) Determination Letters
- Tailoring Agreements.
- Provide independent assessments and recommendations for improving program acquisition efficiencies and processes.
- Monitor contracts and track mission objectives to include selection, definition, and documentation generation and coordination of Procurement Initiation Documents (PIDs) in the Procurement Management Tool (PMT), SOW, CDRLs and ECP contract actions.
- Maintain status of PID package as it goes through the procurement process and provide weekly updates for domestic programs.
- Assist with developing, coordinating, and staffing all required acquisition reporting documents including:
- Selected Acquisition Reports (SAR),
- Defense Acquisition Executive Summaries (DAES)
- ASN (RDandA) Information System (RDAIS) inputs to support monthly and/or quarterly submissions, audits, reviews, and milestone decisions.
- Support the sustainment program by providing acquisition support services through the collection of technical progress reports, cost, schedule, alternative and work around procedures provided by the prime contractors.
- Update required acquisition documentation to reflect the current program status.
- Assist in developing, coordinating, and staffing acquisition documentation for ACAT and non-ACAT programs as described in the SECNAVINST 5000.42 and the SECNAVINST 5000.2 to support all periodic submissions, audits, reviews, and milestones.
- Maintain knowledge and awareness of all acquisition documentation requirements and advise the Government customer of delays in approval cycles or documents that are no longer current.
- Report the progress of acquisition documents, identify impacts to these documents, and advise the IPT lead of potential delays and provide recommendations.
- Update current APs, as required, to support new contract actions.
- Provide NAVAIR Contracts procurement process expertise and support to IPT leads. Track and provide PID status weekly.
- Prepare and assess contractual CDRL requirements, track CDRL delivery, and Government acceptance to ensure timely response using the CDRL tool.
- Assist the IPT lead in developing SOWs, SOOs, CDRLs, GFE, RFP-related documentation, and other contract documentation in support of the sustainment program.
- Coordinate technical evaluations of proposals, tracking and coordinating Basis of Estimate (BOE) evaluations for efforts associated with the sustainment program.

- 10 years of professional experience with the duties listed above.
- Experience Funding / Appropriations.
- Experience with AMS Tools (CSPT, PMT, CDRL) .
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Allowable Substitution:
- Associate degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
- OR
- Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelors Degree.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Top Secret security clearance required.
