Catering Clerk

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with catering orders, including answering questions, taking orders accurately, and offering product recommendations.
• Order Preparation: Assist in preparing and packaging catering orders in accordance with company standards, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
• Food Safety and Quality: Follow food safety protocols to maintain cleanliness, product quality, and presentation in the catering department.
• Inventory and Restocking: Monitor product levels and help restock supplies and ingredients as needed, ensuring the work area is organized and well-stocked.
• Team Collaboration: Work with other catering and deli team members to fulfill large or complex orders on time.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records for all catering orders, including order details and special instructions, to ensure a seamless process from order to delivery.
• General Support: Assist with other tasks within the catering and deli departments as needed, such as cleaning and organizing workspaces.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred.
• Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Availability: Flexible schedule, with the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
