Position Overview
Stowe Living is seeking a motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team!
This position is ideal for someone who has a passion for enjoys working with people and thrives in a busy retail environment.
The role combines retail sales, customer service, visual merchandising. We are looking for someone who has a natural eye for design, takes initiative, and is eager to learn all aspects of our business.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Sales & Customer Service
- Welcome and assist customers, providing a friendly, knowledgeable, and personalized shopping experience.
- Help customers select furniture, lighting, rugs, décor, gifts, and home accessories.
- Build lasting relationships with customers and assist with follow-up communications.
- Process sales, customer orders, quotes, and payments.
- Communicate with vendors, track orders, and provide customers with delivery updates.
- Coordinate furniture deliveries and installations.
- Maintain an organized, attractive showroom through merchandising and product displays.
- Assist with inventory, receiving merchandise, and general retail operations.
- Work collaboratively with the sales and design team to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Has previous retail or sales experience and enjoys working with customers.
- Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking.
- Is self-motivated, dependable, and willing to take initiative in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Lift, carry, and move heavy furniture, boxes, rugs, and home décor items as part of daily responsibilities.
- Is comfortable with the physical demands of a busy furniture and home décor showroom.
