Job Description
- Communicate daily loading schedules, priorities, and updates to warehouse loaders.
- Coordinate split loads and picking requirements with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Identify and communicate inventory shortages or discrepancies, providing solutions to minimize shipping delays.
- Support the loading team by resolving operational issues and ensuring smooth workflow throughout the shift.
- Check in drivers upon arrival and verify appointment and shipment information.
- Prepare and distribute all required shipping and loading documentation, including bills of lading and related paperwork.
- Collaborate with warehouse, inventory, and transportation teams to ensure accurate and timely outbound shipments.
- Monitor loading progress and adjust priorities as needed to meet customer delivery schedules.
- Maintain clear communication across departments to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant shipping operations.
- 2 years of warehouse logistics & planning experience
- Knowledge of the warehouse operations and procedures
- Forklift license (front, retractable, side loader a plus) w/2 yrs of recent forklift experience
- Product knowledge – metal experience preferred
- SAP transactions to track deliveries/shipments
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to calculate floor space in feet and weight distribution on the truck
- Downloading and recording picking photos
