Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Oversees work of assigned maintenance team employees.
• Addresses minor discipline problems with team members; refers more serious cases to maintenance supervisor.
• Assists with the planning and preparation of training and orientation for new maintenance team members.
• Control and source maintenance tools, equipment, and spares.
• Understand and work in accordance with mandatory requirements of Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
• Write reports and present progress at project meetings.
• Quality control of work by appropriate reviews.

Team Leader Responsibilities
• Liaise with Production, other departments, and contractors to reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and ensure the highest level of build quality is achieved.
• Effectively lead a team of maintenance technicians/engineers, working with manager and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow with maximum output.
• Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
• Works with maintenance supervisor to plan work priorities, obtain necessary supplies, and assess skills needed to complete tasks.
• Assesses scheduled/unscheduled maintenance to plan and deliver work assignments.
• Collaborates with team members to discuss upcoming work assignments; delegates assignments based on team members skills and experience.
• Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed safely, effectively, and in a timely manner.
• Assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments.
• Inspects work performed by team members.
• Tracks and logs workers time, materials, and other resources used for inventory purposes.
• Document breakdowns, identifying root cause and remedial action to help identify and resolve recurring issues.
• Understand and maintain high standards of tidiness and organization in line with good 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) practice.
• Ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met by working to the given plan.
• Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department.
• Works with maintenance supervisor to coordinate topics for safety meetings.
Essential Maintenance Duties and Responsibilities
• Ensure production and facilities equipment is operational by responding to emergency, routine, and preventive maintenance.
o Equipment includes but not limited to CNC equipment, robotics, control systems, pumps, welders, punches, presses, shears, cranes, hoists, conveyors, heating and cooling ventilation systems, electrical systems, small hand tools, pneumatic, hydraulic equipment, and paint equipment.
• Exercises independent decision-making to perform complex troubleshooting, installation, design, modification, fabrication, repair, assembly, calibration, moving, alignment, rebuilding, testing, and inspections on a broad range of complex tools, equipment and facilities; including electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronics, PLC, computer controls, robotics, automation, machinery, motors, controls, etc.
• Operate all types of tools and machines essential to the job, including but not limited to electrical meter, hand tools, hand-held power tools, torches, grinders, welders, forklifts, aerial lifts, overhead cranes, and computer equipment.
• Calibrate, Align, Troubleshoot, and Repair equipment utilizing prints, schematics, diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.

• Diagnose, locate, and repair complex equipment breakdowns by observing equipment in operation, listening for problems, using precision measuring / testing instruments, best shop practices, and utilizing root cause analysis tools.
• Resolve problems with limited assistance from peers, Production employees, and/or Supervisor depending on the level and complexity. Following defined procedures and practices.
• Demonstrate knowledge and train others on automation & control, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic system.
• Follow all job and environmental safety requirements (Lock Out Tag Out, Electrical Safety and Arc Flash Prevention, Hot Work, Fall Protection, Hazardous Material Handling and Disposal, etc.)
• Controls downtime by monitoring equipment, informing leadership of breakdown, and utilizing quality maintenance techniques.
• Safely and proficiently perform maintenance related activities of equipment, facilities, and grounds.
• Suggest and implement improvements to existing equipment and/or designs to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Perform machine and fixture set-ups.
• Design, fabricate, and weld structures, guards and special equipment as required.
• Learn techniques for maintenance of new and existing equipment.
• Provides technical support to project managers and engineers on projects.
• Perform rigging, lifting, and relocating a variety of complex, heavy machines, equipment, and components.
• Work is supervised daily or weekly with assignments that encompass a well-defined set of tasks following established procedures, processes, or policies.
• Perform maintenance inventory and operate a maintenance database.
• Perform all assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, accurate and highly productive manner according to company policy.
• Contribute to the team effort to produce a quality product and complete tasks and training.
• Must provide own tools and perform maintenance tasks.
• Ability to work mandatory overtime. Other duties may be assigned by the company.
