Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for an Operating Room Assistant to join our Operating Room team on a Full-Time basis.

Essential Functions:
- Cleans and maintains various assigned areas
- Surface disinfection or specialty OR equipment
- Maintains supplies and keeps closets and equipment in clean working order
- Assists with patient transport, transfer, and positioning
- Transports equipment, blood, specimens, lab draws, and other items to other hospital departments
Position Requirements:
- Required: High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Preferred: Successful completion of the Certified Nursing Assistant program
- Preferred Professional Experience: One-year of previous medical experience in an acute care setting
- Required Certification: Current BLS certification within 90 days of hire
- Preferred Certification: ENPC and TNCC Certification
- Special Requirements: EKG training, Phlebotomy
- Computer Competency: Basic Computer Skills are expected for this position. Access email, reference internal websites, access electronic health records, and use online learning tools to remain current with continuing education requirements.
- Microsoft Office Suite Skills: Beginning Skills – Able to perform basic things such as opening a document, change font, save a document, write a letter.
Work Shift:
- Full-Time, .8 FTE
- 32 hours per week
- Scheduled Days: Monday - Friday, Variable
- Scheduled Shift: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- On Call Every 3rd Weekend
- Every 4th Weekend
- Every 4th Holiday
