Responsibilities And Duties

• Prepare individual, business and trust and estate tax returns.
• Collaborate with clients and team members on income tax preparation and planning.
• Work closely with clients to ensure performance of tax planning and special projects.
• Conduct final reviews of completed tax returns/forms, suggesting necessary edits prior to filing.
• Research and resolve tax and accounting issues as needed.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through ongoing communication, exceptional service, and effective collaboration with other financial professionals.
• Represent and assist clients with IRS, state, and other governmental requests or audits as needed.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and state and federal regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 5 years of tax preparation and research experience, with an emphasis on income tax returns preferred.
• 1 year of final tax return sign-off experience.
• Current CPA (Active Status) or EA Certification / Designation.
• Experience with tax and accounting software (Lacerte and QuickBooks preferred) and Office software (MS Word, MS Excel) and Adobe).
  
  

Compensation & Benefits

• $100,000 - $200,000 Base Annual Salary.
