What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher position at StoryTree Children's Center?
StoryTree Children's Center is looking for an EEC Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher. This person must be patient and be able to uphold a nurturing environment for children to play and learn. We are looking for someone who is reliable, is a 'team player', has a strong work ethic, and maintains a positive attitude and upbeat disposition. Applicant must also have good oral and written communication skills.
Applicant must be able to plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum, as well as establish and maintain a safe, healthy learning environment; this includes full supervision of children at all times, in accordance with EEC licensing requirements. Applicant will be required to attend in-service and staff development training programs.
This is a physically active position- applicant must be able to stand, move, and play for most of the day and must have the ability to lift up to 35lbs multiple times per day.
Applicant must be able to pass a background record check including DCF, CORI, SORI and fingerprinting.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary Range: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience
