Role Description The Dishwasher role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cincinnati, OH. The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment in accordance with food safety and health standards. Daily tasks include operating dishwashing machines, hand-washing items as needed, organizing clean dishware, and maintaining cleanliness in the dish room, kitchen, and related storage areas. The role supports the kitchen team by assisting with basic food preparation, removing trash, and ensuring supplies are stocked and ready for meal service. The Dishwasher works collaboratively with culinary and dining staff to help provide a positive dining experience for residents and guests.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform Dishwashing and maintain clean, sanitary kitchen and work areas
- Basic Food Preparation and Cooking support skills to assist the culinary team as needed
- Strong Communication skills and focus on Customer Satisfaction when interacting with residents, guests, and team members
- Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices in a commercial kitchen environment
- Capability to stand, bend, lift, and carry dish racks and supplies throughout a full shift
- Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail in completing tasks and following procedures
- Experience in hospitality, senior living, or food service is helpful but not required
