Maintenance Technician II – Vacation Homes

Pay: $22–$26 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time, 40 scheduled hours per week, including weekends
Emergency coverage: Availability for on-call maintenance emergencies

Help keep our vacation homes safe, comfortable and ready for guests. We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on maintenance technician who takes pride in their work, troubleshoots independently and communicates clearly with our team.

What you’ll do

• Complete everyday household repairs involving toilet components, doors, locks, furniture and fixtures.
• Handle minor drywall repairs, painting and touch-ups.
• Troubleshoot basic appliance, TV, Wi-Fi and game-room issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and respond promptly to guest-reported problems.
• Document completed work in Breezeway with clear notes and photos.
• Pick up approved parts and supplies, coordinate vendor access and check completed repairs.
• Recognize when a problem requires a licensed specialist and communicate it promptly.

What we’re looking for

• Hands-on residential, hotel, resort or vacation-home maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to complete routine repairs independently.
• Clear English communication for guest requests, safety instructions and team coordination. Portuguese is a plus.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation between homes.
• Your own basic tools; a personal vehicle already equipped with your tools is preferred.
• Dependability, professional conduct in occupied homes and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical maintenance work, including lifting up to 50 pounds, with reasonable accommodation as needed.
• Availability for weekend shifts and on-call emergencies.

Pay and benefits

• $22–$26 per hour, based on relevant skills and experience.
• Overtime pay for hours worked over 40 in a workweek.
• Paid vacation based on length of employment.
• Reimbursement for approved business mileage and authorized work expenses.
• Employer-sponsored health insurance and retirement benefits are not currently offered.
