Airbnb Cleaner

Overview:

I am looking for an experienced cleaning person to assist me with Airbnb turnovers for the months of September and October, which will be very busy, and possibly beyond. The cleaning person will be a co-host on my Airbnb account so they can see the reservations, messages, and calendar. In most months, I rent the upstairs of my own home on Airbnb - It is one medium sized bedroom and a small bathroom. In October only, I will also be renting my own living space downstairs in addition to the upstairs room, while I go away. The downstairs space is a small bedroom, living room, and kitchen and bathroom. I will do the laundry - I need someone who can clean, disinfect, and re-stock. Ideally someone who has done Airbnb turnovers before and is familiar with this level of attention to detail and cleanliness. I have a very high rating for cleanliness, and need to keep it. It usually takes about one hour to clean the upstairs, and 2-3 hours to do the downstairs. Most weeks will have 2-3 turnovers a week.

Duties

• Strip beds and re-make with clean linens stored in onsite supply closet
• Clean bathroom and disinfect all bathroom surfaces with bleach solution
• Spray and wipe all high touch surfaces (desk, doorknobs, etc)
• Sweep or vacuum and then steam mop floors
• Re-stock supplies from supply closet
• Use a bleach solution or bleach wipes to disinfect, and use thymol (plant) based cleaning solution I will provide for other surfaces
• Leave windows open to air out space after using bleach.

Skills/Experience

• Detail oriented, organized, and motivated
• Previous cleaning experience, ideally Airbnb turnover experience
• Willingness to move furniture to get behind it and ensure cleanliness
• Able to use Airbnb app to check calendar
• Reliable and predictable so I know when the Airbnb wil be ready for the next guest
• Able to provide references from previous cleaning jobs

Pay: $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2.0 – 8.0 per week
