Delivery Driver

STORsquare - Knoxville

Our young company is looking for a team player to fill the position of Delivery Driver servicing Knoxville Metro and East Tennessee. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery and pickup of our storage containers to customers throughout the Knoxville metro area, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our customers. The delivery driver is the only STORsquare face our customers will see, making it extremely important that the driver is courteous, responsible, and places the customer's needs first. Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver containers
• Load/unload container and additional materials per customer's specifications
• Deliver containers to designated locations in a courteous manner
• Contact customers with estimated time of arrival prior to delivery
• Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety standards
• Take pre- and post-delivery photographs of storage containers to ensure quality container and delivery conditions
• Ask for feedback and resolve customer's complaints
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
• Obtain delivery confirmations and signature of lease agreement from customer
• Complete marketing and promotional deliveries
• Assist in assembly, storage, maintenance, and upkeep of containers
• Other duties as assigned to assist in the needs of a growing business

Job Requirements:

• Valid Class D, or comparable Tennessee Driver License (CDL Class A/B/C not required, but preferred)
• Clean Driving Record
• 2 years experience driving a commercial vehicle
• Experience with forklift or other powered industrial lift preferred
• Ability to pass company driving test, background check, and drug screening
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Positive and professional attitude

Compensation/Other:

• $19 - 21 per hour base
• Performance-based bonuses and overtime available
• Hours are flexible between 7AM and 7PM

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
