What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Walls Installer position at Storr Office Environments?
We are seeking experienced installers to work jobs constructing aluminum/metal stud framing and hanging commercial walls. This position is under the direct supervision of the lead installer with the primary focus being wall installation for commercial customers.
Applicants must have a strong construction background, with hands-on experience in framing, cutting, and measuring. Candidates should have at least five (5) years of carpentry-based, commercial construction experience, previous framing of metal and stud walls is a plus. Attention to detail is a must. The ability to move and handle glass is also involved.
Requirements
- Systems office furniture experience or construction experience with hands-on framing, cutting, and measuring required
- Communication and customer relation skills are necessary
- Ability to read blueprints and specifications, read and understand delivery tickets, and product tagging information
- Must possess a complete set of tools
- Ability to lift and carry at least 80 lbs
- Adhere to company dress code and safety procedures Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times
- A valid driver's license with a good driving record required

- Satisfactory MVR (driving record)
- D.O.T. physical/certification in states that require a drug screen, criminal background investigation with job performance reference check, and required testing, a valid Driver's License, and compliance with the Company's Driver Qualification Policy
