The Company
Our client is a well-respected Energy Performance Contracting provider in NYC. They provide end-to-end energy efficiency and GHG reduction projects for MUSH and C&I clients in the Tri-State area.
With a growing footprint in NJ and CT, they are looking for a NYC based salesperson who can bring their strong relations with Commercial Real Estate clients in the City.
The Role
As a Sr Business Development Manager - you will lead the acquisition of multi-million dollar energy infrastructure projects, managing the entire deal lifecycle from prospect to close. You'll be supported by a world-class team of engineering and construction experts. .
What you’ll be doing:
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships from lead generation to close
- Build, lead, and scale a high-performing direct and partner sales organization
- Establish a disciplined sales operating rhythm including forecasting, pipeline management, and KPI tracking
- Adopt a highly consultative sales approach - acting as a trusted advisor to your clients
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of experience selling energy infrastructure projects in NYC
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex stakeholders
- Demonstrated success in selling to CRE, C&I or MUSH clients in NYC
- Experience selling complex, multi-site, or enterprise energy solutions
- Strong influencing skills
- People focused, client-centric approach to sales
