This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Group Controller to oversee the financial operations of three divisions within a rapidly growing leader in advanced lithium battery and energy storage systems. The company are part of a globally recognized, family-owned enterprise, and they continue to expand its footprint in both commercial and U.S. Government sectors. They are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented finance leader to drive financial accuracy, strengthen internal controls, and support senior leadership in key decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead monthly/annual close and deliver accurate GAAP financial statements.
• Oversee accounting operations: GL, AP/AR, payroll, and fixed assets.
• Maintain controls, ensure compliance, and manage internal/external audits.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and support treasury, liquidity, and working capital oversight.
• Improve and maintain ERP/financial systems; drive automation and process upgrades.
• Guide and develop the accounting team; collaborate with cross-functional leaders.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 7 years of accounting leadership, including team management.
• 5 years in a Controller role within manufacturing required.
• Public accounting experience (Big Four or similar) preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and expertise in ERP systems, Excel, and SQL.
• Highly analytical with strong judgment, confidentiality, and prioritization skills.
