The Role – Manager of Technical Accounting and Reporting
In this role, you'll:
- Lead all technical accounting functions, including revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, internally developed software, leases, and equity.
- Prepare public company-ready financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
- Evaluate complex customer contracts (especially healthcare-specific models) and apply ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
- Build internal controls and support external audits for a scaling, growth-stage HealthTech company.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred).
- 6 years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 experience highly desirable) or a combination of public accounting and corporate technical accounting and/or reporting roles.
- 1 year of managerial experience
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and technical accounting standards.
- Proven experience with the preparation of SEC filings (e.g., S-1, 10-K, 10-Q).
- Experience with financial reporting systems (e.g., Workiva, Active Disclosure) is a plus but not required.
