Controls Technician
North Sioux City, SD
1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $38–$40 /hr, based on experience
Weekly Pay | Full-Time

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled and automated equipment
- Write and modify PLC logic
- Troubleshoot AC/DC electrical systems, motors, instrumentation, and controls
- Work with PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and automation systems
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance
- Maintain plant network and Ethernet communications
- Install system modifications and update electrical schematics
- Support the maintenance team with electrical and equipment issues
Qualifications
- 5 years of industrial automation, controls, or electrical experience
- Strong electrical troubleshooting background
- PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
- Allen-Bradley experience preferred
- Hands-on robotics, automation, and HMI experience
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- High school diploma or GED
- Food manufacturing experience is a plus
- Electrical Engineering degree or similar education is a plus
Work Environment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be comfortable around automated equipment, forklifts, and conveyors
- Occasional overtime, weekends, holidays, and after-hours support may be required
