Location: Chicagoland AreaPay: $150 per show mileage • Weekday mornings • Paid trainingStorm Science is seeking a high-energy, reliable presenter to lead our fun, interactive weather and science assemblies for K–5 students across the Chicagoland area. If you enjoy working with kids, love engaging crowds, and want a part-time role with consistent weekday mornings, this may be a perfect fit.This position is ideal for former teachers, substitute teachers, youth leaders, camp counselors, museum educators, coaches, and anyone who enjoys public speaking and commanding a room. Science background preferred but not required — we train you.What You’ll DoPresent our 60–75 minute Storm Science program at elementary schoolsDeliver an engaging, scripted show (training & materials provided)Perform simple, safe science demonstrationsManage large groups of students with confidence and enthusiasmMaintain equipment and represent Storm Science professionallySchedulePart-time, flexibleWeekday mornings/ afternoons (8 AM – 3 PM)Typically 2–5 shows per week depending on the seasonThis role is not ideal for individuals juggling rehearsals, auditions, or highly variable schedules.
