Roofing Project Manager

Job Summary:
Roofing general contractor located in Nixa, MO- serving all surrounding areas including St. Louis & Kansas City.

We are seeking an extremely motivated, detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee complex roofing projects from inception to completion. No physical roofing required-just managing the project. You will be required to perform inspections- must be comfortable getting on the roof.

In this role, you will be managing a small sales team with obtaining leads (D2D mainly), then coordinating all aspects of the project pertaining to roofing, siding, windows, gutters and other repairs. You will be working directly with insurance companies, subcontractors and homeowners to complete the project.

You must communicate with homeowners effectively and efficiently.

Our homeowners are our number one priority. We put the roof on before we collect payment. You must ensure all materials for the project are ordered correctly and are delivered on time, with proper coordination with the subcontractors. You must physically oversee the project once the work is started- until its finished, ensuring the work is done correctly and up to our standards.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, driving project success through effective leadership, meticulous planning, and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of roofing projects, ensuring alignment with subcontractors and homeowner expectations.
• Perform roof inspections and report/upload findings to inside team and insurance
• Communicate with the inside team through Acculynx to get accurate estimates, invoices, Xactimate and other necessary documents for the project to move forward.
• Communicate with insurance adjusters to get accurate estimates, and negotiate items pertaining to the claim and project scope
• Physically supervise all projects being completed
• Lead your small team of sales reps in the field going D2D, maintaining company standards and effective strategies. You must have a plan and goals for your reps each week (the sales reps are under your management; you must train them on obtaining these leads effectively.)
• Ensure timely resolution of issues related to material, orders, and jobsite activity.
• Maintain open communication with homeowners and updates on the job weekly.

Qualifications:

(we can train some aspects, but you must have leadership and/or construction/roofing experience)

• Roofing, construction or project management experience
• Experience with Acculynx, Xactimate, Eagle view and other applicable software (we can train with these)
• Quick, hands on learner
• Adapt to a quickly changing situations
• Communication with insurance adjusters regarding scope of project, ability to negotiate on homeowner's behalf
• Ability to lead a small team D2D obtaining leads and keeping your team motivated each week
• Time awareness and urgency
• Experience reading insurance estimates
• Contract signing and accuracy of scope of work
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating between homeowners, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ability to keep the project moving forward in a timely manner, prioritizing the homeowners wants and needs.
• Construction site experience is essential; familiarity with managing complex projects is highly desirable
