Storm Guardian Generators is looking for a dependable Journeyman Plumber to support our standby generator installation and service operations. This role focuses on the installation and repair of gas lines (natural gas and propane) and related plumbing components that support whole-home generator systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Install and test gas piping systems for new standby generator installations
- Perform inspections and leak checks to ensure safe, code-compliant gas connections
- Service and troubleshoot existing gas line connections for generators
- Read blueprints and work with install teams to complete projects on schedule
- Pull necessary permits and coordinate inspections as required
- Communicate with customers about job progress, timelines, and post-install instructions
- Maintain accurate job documentation and uphold safety standards
What You Bring:
- Active Texas Journeyman Plumber license (required)
- 2 years of experience in residential gas line installation or service
- Familiarity with generator gas loads and BTU requirements (preferred)
- Solid understanding of local plumbing and gas codes
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
