What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Dump Truck Driver position at Storey Brothers Excavating?
Storey Brothers is seeking a dump truck driver, reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, and construction debris to and from job sites. The ideal candidate will have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL), a clean driving record, and strong communication.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate dump truck safely and efficiently.
· Load dump truck safely as needed.
· Daily inspection of dump truck
· Follow direction of supervisor to provide correct material to jobsites
· Communicate effectively with supervisors, crew members, and other drivers.
Qualifications:
- Clean driving record
- Valid commercial driver’s license
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to operate equipment to be able to load own truck is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Sitting for long periods of time
- Comfortable driving in various weather conditions.
