Logistics Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for external carriers, drivers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to confirm pick-up windows and delivery details.
• Shipment tracking & visibility; verify that carriers adhere to scheduled pick-up times, route plans, and service level agreements (SLAs); maintain accurate records of shipment activities, carrier contacts, delivery confirmations, etc.
• Support the scheduling of inbound freight appointments and coordinate dock availability with the warehouse team.
• Communicate by phone, email, text, and in person with internal teams, vendors, carriers, and drivers.
• Coordinate transportation timing in alignment with Receiving and warehouse schedules
• Assist with inbound receiving workflows and driver check in — confirming ASNs, reconciling PO quantities, and flagging discrepancies
• Assist with resolving day-to-day logistics issues including shipping delays, damaged goods, and route deviations by coordinating with carriers and internal teams.
• Act as a first point of contact when delivery concerns arise; document outcomes and escalate complex cases.

Qualifications

• 1 years experience in an e-commerce fulfillment or distribution center environment strongly preferred.
• Exposure to a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for order tracking, receiving, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in Salesforce (or comparable CRM/logistics platform) for logging activities and managing communications preferred.
• Working knowledge of Google Sheets is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate clearly with carriers, warehouse staff, and internal stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
