Bilingual Mortgage Loan Assistant

Storch Mortgage Team | MortgageOne Inc. is growing and looking for a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Bilingual Mortgage Loan Assistant to join our Tampa-based mortgage team.

This is a full-time hybrid position based in the Tampa / Westchase area.

We are a fast-paced, relationship-driven mortgage team focused on communication, teamwork, client experience, and helping families achieve homeownership throughout Tampa Bay and beyond.

Our team works closely with homebuyers, Realtors, title companies, and referral partners every day, and we are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys helping people, and can confidently manage multiple moving parts throughout the mortgage process.

We lend in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Texas and continue to grow throughout the Southeast.

This role is ideal for someone who is bilingual in Spanish and English, detail-oriented, dependable, professional, and excited about long-term growth opportunities within the mortgage industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish throughout the mortgage process

• Assist loan officers with collecting and organizing loan documentation

• Review loan files for completeness and accuracy

• Help coordinate communication between clients, Realtors, title companies, processors, and loan officers

• Maintain consistent follow-up with clients regarding outstanding items and loan updates

• Help manage active loan pipelines and transaction updates

• Review and analyze credit reports, income documents, and asset documentation

• Deliver excellent customer service and create a positive client experience from application to closing

• Maintain accurate updates within Encompass and internal systems

Qualifications:

• Fluent in Spanish and English required

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities

• Positive attitude and team-first mindset

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Mortgage, banking, lending, real estate, financial services, or professional office experience preferred

• Mortgage experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate

• NMLS license is preferred but not required

• Experience with Encompass, DU, CRM systems, or loan processing software is a plus

• Knowledge of conventional and government mortgage products preferred

Compensation:

$50,000–$70,000 annually based on experience, qualifications, and licensing
