Self Storage Property Manager
Location: Jackson, Mississippi (2 Properties)
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, self-directed Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of two self-storage facilities in the Jackson, Mississippi area.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives working independently, takes pride in ownership, and is driven by results. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to maximizing occupancy, collections, and property appearance.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of two self-storage facilities.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Lease storage units and maximize occupancy through effective sales and follow-up.
- Maintain high collection rates by managing delinquent accounts and communicating with customers professionally.
- Perform daily property inspections to ensure facilities remain clean, safe, secure, and well maintained.
- Coordinate maintenance and vendor services as needed.
- Complete administrative tasks accurately, including rental agreements, reports, deposits, and recordkeeping.
- Monitor inventory and office supplies.
- Respond quickly to customer concerns and resolve issues professionally.
- Ensure company policies and operational procedures are consistently followed.
- Assist in marketing and community outreach efforts to increase occupancy.
- Travel between both assigned properties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous property management, self-storage, retail management, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong sales and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Comfortable using computers and learning management software.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
