Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain physical and virtual servers (on prem and Azure), including provisioning, monitoring, backup, and patching of all operating systems.
- Manage LAN and wireless network equipment and configurations, including switches, access points, routers, and internet service equipment; perform ongoing LAN/WLAN and internet service administration and troubleshooting.
- Configure, monitor, and maintain firewall equipment and VPN solutions, including rule management, remote access, and security policy enforcement.
- Support workstation and laptop equipment, including imaging, deployment, operating system and software patching, and ongoing endpoint administration.
- Perform Microsoft Hybrid Active Directory and Entra ID administration, including user and group management, password administration, and Group Policy and security policy configuration.
- Administer phone systems and related phone system equipment, including configuration changes, extensions, voicemail, and integration with the network.
- Plan and execute software deployments and updates, coordinating patching cycles for servers, workstations, laptops, and critical applications.
- Maintain accurate tech equipment inventory, including servers, network devices, endpoints, and peripherals, track asset lifecycle and assignments.
- Serve as Storage Defender administrator, including configuration, monitoring, and response activities for backups, storage protection, or related security capabilities (as defined by your implementation).
- In office scheduling requirements are determined by your supervisor and are subject to change at any time.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and hands on experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in systems administration in a Microsoft centric environment, including Active Directory and Windows Server.
- Experience managing virtualized servers (e.g., Hyper V, VMware) and administering core networking components (switches, firewalls, VPN, wireless).
- Demonstrated experience with Windows desktop administration, software deployment tools, and patch management solutions.
- Strong understanding of security best practices, Group Policy, user/permission administration, and backup/recovery processes.
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WLAN infrastructure, including configuration and troubleshooting of switches, access points, routers, and internet service equipment; familiarity with VLANs, DNS, DHCP preferred
- Experience configuring virtual desktop environments in Azure, is preferred
- Prefer experience configuring and maintaining firewall equipment and VPN solutions, including rule management, remote access, and security policy enforcement
- Familiarity with VoIP phone systems, including configuration, extensions, voicemail, and network integration is preferred
