We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our culinary team as a cook. This role is essential in delivering high-quality food service and ensuring that all dietary needs are met. Duties

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Assist in menu planning, ensuring variety and nutritional balance.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout the kitchen.
• Handle food items with care, adhering to proper food handling procedures.
• Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary requests.
• Serve meals in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets fine dining standards.
• Participate in catering events as needed, showcasing culinary skills in diverse settings.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and utensils, ensuring they are clean and functional.
• Support the team by training new staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred.
• Strong background in menu planning and meal preparation within a culinary environment.
• Fine dining experience is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of high-quality service standards.
• Proficiency in cooking techniques, including knife skills and food handling practices.
• Experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining individual responsibilities.
