Duties
- Perform fire and water damage restoration, including extraction, cleaning, and drying processes to restore property to pre-loss condition
- Conduct mold remediation and asbestos abatement following safety protocols and industry standards
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, cleaning, and repair tasks with precision and care
- Assist in construction-related tasks such as minor repairs, drywall replacement, and surface refinishing
- Follow safety guidelines during all restoration activities to protect yourself and clients' property
- Document work performed with detailed reports, photographs, and logs for accountability and insurance purposes
Skills
- Proven experience in the restoration industry with a focus on fire, water damage, mold remediation, or asbestos abatement
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment used in restoration projects
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Familiarity with construction processes related to property repair and renovation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail during inspections and repairs
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in various environments while maintaining safety standards
