Duties

• Stock, organize, and merchandise produce displays to ensure attractive presentation and easy customer access
• Use RF scanners to accurately track inventory levels and assist with inventory control procedures
• Load and unload shipments using pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or manual handling techniques to maintain stock levels
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in produce areas, including cleaning shelves, bins, and equipment
• Assist customers with locating products, answering questions about produce items, and offering friendly service
• Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming deliveries and preparing outgoing orders for distribution
• Perform heavy lifting when handling large or bulky produce items to ensure safety and efficiency

Experience

• Previous warehouse experience or retail grocery store background preferred but not required; training provided
• Familiarity with inventory management systems, RF scanners, and warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (certification is a plus)
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, merchandising, and maintaining product freshness
• Excellent communication skills; ability to work effectively with team members and customers in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual abilities are advantageous)
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, load & unload shipments, and standing for extended periods
• Knowledge of grocery store operations, retail math, customer service principles, and safety protocols
