If you said yes to any of these Stop and Shop may be the place for you. We are looking for a Part Time Closer that will work closely with the management team. For this position you must be over 18 years old and it is required that you work evenings and weekends. Typical shifts end at 11pm. This is an ideal role if you are looking to advance your career and grow into a leadership role in the retail industry. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform total store management responsibilities as required. Manage, implement and maintain required standards of food safety and sanitation in all areas of the store. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a safe environment for all customers and associates. Ensure that all products received is processed and stored in accordance with company policy. To perform daily functions we may need to operate equipment including but not limited to electric and manual pallet jack, compactor, baler, symbol guns and clean sweep procedures. Identify and address any store maintenance problems by conducting routine refrigeration checks according to company guidelines administering preventive maintenance programs and training associates on the proper use and maintenance of refrigeration and equipment. Additional Responsibilities Administer and enforce company policy as it pertains to deposits, check cashing, refunds, double money back with the capability to perform the responsibilities listed above and have the required availability will be provided with all the training on all tasks you will be held accountable to complete.
