Responsibilities
- Perform tire services such as mounting, balancing, rotation, and repair with precision and care
- Conduct oil changes and replace automotive fluids including coolant, transmission fluid, and brake fluid
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks like filter replacements and battery checks
- Diagnose minor mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and recommend necessary repairs
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks
- Assist in general vehicle inspections and minor mechanical repairs to uphold safety standards
Requirements
- Prior automotive repair shop experience is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of standard passenger cars and basic automotive systems
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, fluid replacement procedures, and tire service techniques
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and automotive equipment effectively and safely
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform maintenance tasks in various positions
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude toward assisting customers
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, alignments, and minor repairs
