Post-Doctoral Fellow position

The Postdoctoral Associate will work closely with the Principal Investigator to conduct innovative, cross-disciplinary research while ensuring all experiments comply with institutional policies and procedures. The role includes conducting experiments in chronic liver disease and alcohol-associated liver disease, with an emphasis on multi-organ interactions involving the brain and cardiovascular system. Responsibilities also include data collection and analysis, literature review, contributing to manuscript and grant writing, and maintaining laboratory operations such as equipment upkeep and supply management.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong scientific rigor, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with exceptional attention to detail. This role requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary research team.

• Ph.D. in molecular biology, cancer biology, neuroscience, or a closely related field
• Demonstrated experience in molecular biology, cell culture, and animal studies with peer-reviewed publications

• Background or interest in cardiovascular biology, neuroscience, or multi-organ disease mechanisms
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach to research challenges
• Willing to submit grant application if eligible.
