Required Qualifications (as Evidenced By An Attached Resume)
Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Two (2) years of full-time experience in a biostatistical role within a research or clinical setting. Proficiency in statistical software such as R, SAS, or SPSS. Experience working with statistical methods, including regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and/or survival analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Experience with clinical trials or epidemiological studies. Experience working with programming languages such as Python or SQL. Publications in peer-reviewed journals. Experience in methodology research in machine learning.
Brief Description Of Duties
The ideal candidate will apply statistical principles and techniques to analyze data from medical and biological research. This role involves designing experiments, analyzing complex datasets, and interpreting results to guide research decisions and contribute to scientific advancements. The ideal applicant has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. The ideal applicant has excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex statistical concepts clearly.

- Collaborate with researchers to design experiments and clinical trials.
- Develop statistical plans and methodologies appropriate for the research objectives.
- Perform complex data analyses using statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS).
- Apply appropriate statistical models and techniques to interpret data.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the analysis process.
- Interpret statistical results and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations of statistical analyses.
- Provide recommendations based on statistical evidence to support decision-making.
- Work closely with researchers, clinicians, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and research goals.
- Communicate statistical findings effectively to non-statistical audiences.
- Contribute to the development of research publications and grant proposals.
