Position Summary: The Shipping & Receiving Team Member works at the
direction of the Team Leader and supports the accurate and efficient
flow of all incoming and outgoing stone products on the property. This
position is responsible for helping to tag pallets, safely store
product, and maintain neat, clean and organized areas. Essential Duties
and Responsibilities: Take direction from the Team Leader Perform daily
inspections of forklift(s) as required by OSHA and Company standards,
and notify supervisor of any equipment maintenance or repair needs.
Ensure proper unloading of trucks and safe, temporary storage of
products in receiving area. Compare quantities on bills of lading to
quantities actually received and (1) sign bill of lading when they match
to release truck driver or (2) notify supervisor of discrepancies. Tag
pallets with machine-printed Company tags and stamp product (if
appropriate), while in receiving area. Put stock away in appropriate
storage area or warehouse, according to map or storage plan, and leave
receiving area empty. Monitor return area and put stock away after
ensuring proper processing and tagging; Keep return area empty, clean,
and marked. Unload, verify bills of lading, tag and stage special
orders. Prepare items for shipment. Process loading and shipping
paperwork. Load and QC product onto delivery trucks, ensuring product,
size and quantity accuracy. Monitor and maintain assigned product areas.
Assist with inventory counts and in moving inventory for storage within
the yard area. Wear uniform and tool pouch. Keep all receiving and
return areas empty and clean. Monitor and maintain assigned product
areas in yard. Keep product looking clean and presentable, pick up
trash, and maintain aisles for safe walking and forklift operation;
Greet customers and respond to their inquiries, bringing a sales person
to them as quickly as possible; Keep self and others safe; Share
improvement opportunities and yard layout or merchandising ideas. Be
productive; Take initiative and use down-time to work on yard keeping,

climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must

the use of safety equipment to including eye safety glasses, hearing
