Duties

• Control access points with precision, verifying credentials and performing background checks on staff, vendors, and visitors to ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Respond swiftly to incidents by executing emergency response procedures, including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety measures.
• Manage crowd control during events by de-escalating conflicts through conflict management techniques and conflict de-escalation skills.
• Conduct thorough inspections of the premises using manual handling techniques to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches or safety concerns for future review and action.
• Operate security equipment such as access control systems, CCTV cameras, Taser devices, firearms (where legally permitted), and other law enforcement tools responsibly and in accordance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in physical security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields with knowledge of surveillance and CCTV operations.
• Valid certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, Taser use, firearm handling (if applicable), and emergency response procedures.
• Strong understanding of security regulations including access control systems and loss prevention strategies.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely during patrols or incident responses.
• Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict management abilities to handle diverse situations professionally.
• Demonstrated capability in performing background checks and conducting thorough security screenings.
• Familiarity with compliance standards related to physical security measures and law enforcement procedures.
