Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients, visitors, and guests in a courteous, professional, and compassionate manner.
• Complete patient registration and admission processes accurately and efficiently.
• Obtain and verify demographic, insurance, and financial information.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and other payments as required.
• Maintain and update patient records in accordance with privacy and security standards.
• Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to facilitate patient flow.
• Address patient inquiries and provide information regarding hospital services and procedures.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to patient admissions and discharges.

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare or administrative training preferred.
• Prior experience in healthcare administration, customer service, or a related field is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, privacy standards (such as HIPAA), and insurance verification processes is a plus.
