Warehouse Outbound Associate - 2nd Shift

The Warehouse Outbound Associate is responsible for performing an array of functions that include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse, and ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse to meet company standards.

Earn it and Love it: 

• Pay rate:  $18.00 per hour 10% Shift Differential = $19.80 per hour
• Steady Schedule Seasonal Overtime to Keep Our Customers Smiling: Monday - Friday, 4:00pm - 12:30am  

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn and perform assigned warehouse floor duties, including picking and processing orders.  
• Operate material, handling equipment safely and in accordance with training and certification requirements.
• Meet established safety, productivity, quality, and accuracy standards.
• Minimize picking errors, shorts, and damages.
• Follow FIFO, lot control, and rotation procedures as required.
• Verify product codes, quantities, and condition prior to confirmation.
• Accurately use RF scanners and WMS.  
• Pack, ticket, and label orders or product accurately in accordance with company standards to ensure product integrity.  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse in accordance with safety standards.
• Report any conditions that need attention to  appropriate manager.
• Follow all company policies and procedures with regard to safety, including food safety, quality, sanitation, personnel, maintenance, and equipment
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, leads, and other team members.  
• Maintain professional conduct and positive working relationships.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating Walkie Rider or Riding Pallet Jack preferred.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
• Experience with inventory management and RF scanners. 
• Understand numbers and letters on an RF scanner.

Skills & Abilities

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs on a regular basis, with the ability to twist, bend, reach, squat, climb stairs and stand for several hours at a time
• Comfortable with basic math- adding, subtracting, multiplication and division 
• Experience using, or willingness to learn, Radio Frequency (RF) scanning systems and electric pallet jacks.  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, squat, climb stairs, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and humidity.
• Ability to work overtime including Saturdays.
