DIETARY AIDE JOB DESCRIPTION
Part Time
8:30am-7:00pm
10 Hour Shifts
Every other weekend/Holiday
This position is responsible for dietary tasks in the kitchen as well as meal service in the dining room. The primary purpose of this job position is to be responsible for creating an enjoyable dining experience for our residents and their guests. We have a great working environment where you can make a difference in the lives of older adults. We offer a competitive hourly rate. Full time positions are eligible for generous benefit program.
Major Responsibilities, Duties, Functions, and Tasks of the Position
Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting.
Ensure that all residents and guests receive gracious hospitality and have a pleasant dining experience.
Work with the dietary team to deliver great food in an organized manner.
Sets and resets the dining room.
Assist with meal assembly.
Assist with special events and activities as needed.
Qualifications:What you will bring:
Must have a caring heart willing to serve others
Able to be flexible and work a variety of shifts, including holidays and weekends
Is comfortable working with residents who live on our campus, from adults to seniors
