Field Operations Supervisor

We're not looking for someone who wants to be a leader. We're looking for someone who already is one.

If you've spent years in the field earning your credentials, building your knowledge across trades, and figuring out the right way to do things then this role was built for you. We need someone who can take that experience and use it to build a team, set the standard, and make sure every technician on the crew grows because of your influence.

This is not an entry-level supervisor title. This is a field leadership role for someone who has already done it.

About us We are a residential property management and maintenance company operating across the greater Los Angeles and San Gabriel Valley area. Our maintenance operation is growing and we need a strong, credentialed field leader to help us build the team the right way, with clear standards, strong communication, and people who take pride in their work.

What you'll own

• Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians by coaching, mentoring, and holding the standard on every job
• Build and document SOPs for repairs, trade procedures, and field operations; we want things done right and done consistently
• Set and track KPIs for the team - quality, response time, callback rate, and technician performance
• Provide hands-on technical support in the field across HVAC, plumbing, and construction scopes
• Coordinate with property managers and communicate clearly on job status, scope, and issues
• Build the kind of team that doesn't need to be micromanaged because you trained them right

What we need from you

• You are already a manager or supervisor - this is not your first leadership role
• 6 years of hands-on experience across trades such as HVAC, plumbing, construction, and/or mold remediation; HVAC, plumbing, and construction remain our core disciplines.
• Active credentials or certifications to back your trade knowledge - we will ask
• You have written SOPs before, actual documentation of how work gets done, not just verbal instruction
• Experience setting or working with KPIs and field performance metrics
• Strong communicator - you can speak to a technician on the job and a property manager in the office with equal confidence
• Must live in the Montclair to San Gabriel Valley area — this role covers our full property range including travel to San Bernardino and Riverside

You'll stand out if you have

• Experience managing multi-family residential or commercial property maintenance
• Familiarity with city permitting and inspection processes
• Experience building or scaling a maintenance team from the ground up

Experience required

• Maintenance supervisor or field lead role: 3 years minimum (required)
• HVAC, plumbing, or construction trade experience: 5 years (required)
• SOP development or field documentation: demonstrated experience (required)
• Bilingual English / Spanish or English / Mandarin (preferred)

Experience:

• hands-on experience across trades such as HVAC: 6 years (Required)
