Supply Chain Project ManagerThis hybrid role combines remote work with a few onsite days each week.The Supply Chain Project Manager leads cross-functional supply chain initiatives that support safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations. This role partners closely with leadership, maintenance, engineering, procurement, and suppliers to plan and execute projects that ensure the timely availability of critical materials, services, and equipment for both planned and unplanned needs. Success in this role requires the ability to operate in a highly regulated environment while balancing cost, reliability, and operational risk.Key ResponsibilitiesLead supply chain projects supporting capital projects, maintenance programs, and continuous process improvement initiativesDevelop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies aligned with operating schedulesPartner with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to forecast material and service requirements and align sourcing strategies accordinglyCoordinate procurement and supplier activities related to critical spare parts, OEM equipment, and specialized servicesSupport supplier sourcing initiatives, including RFP development, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract implementationsTrack and manage supplier performance, lead times, and risk related to generation-critical materials and servicesIdentify opportunities to reduce the total cost of ownership while maintaining equipment reliability and complianceMonitor project execution and provide clear, concise updates to leadership and supply chain managementEnsure compliance with supply chain policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements applicable to generation operationsDrive process improvements that enhance material availability, outage readiness, and supply chain resilienceRequired Qualifications3-5 years of Project Management experience, Bachelor’s degree or a related field, or equivalent experienceFamiliarity with Process Improvement, OEM sourcing, MRO, and parts managementProject management certification (PMP, Lean, Six Sigma)Experience with ERP or procurement systems (SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle, Ariba, or similar)Understanding of regulatory, safety, and compliance requirementsProven experience managing supply chain or operations projectsStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive initiativesDemonstrated ability to work effectively with operations and technical stakeholdersExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint Company DescriptionStoneLaurel is a management consulting firm with the capabilities of a large provider and the personal touch of a boutique partner.
