Part-Time Property Maintenance Assistant (Seasonal)
Location: Stonehouse Stables
Pay: $13.50 to $18 per visit (based on experience and quality of work)
Job Description:Seeking a reliable and hardworking teenager or young adult to help maintain a horse property. Duties include mowing approximately 5 acre of lawn and trimming grass and weeds along fences throughout an 25-acre property.
Responsibilities:- Mow lawn areas using a zero turn or push mower- String trim along fence lines, buildings, gates, and other obstacles- Clean up clippings from walkways and entrances as needed- Report any property issues noticed during work- Follow safety guidelines around horses and farm equipment
Requirements:- Dependable and punctual- Comfortable working outdoors in summer conditions- Able to safely operate mowing and trimming equipment- Attention to detail and ability to work independently- Previous lawn care experience preferred but not required
Schedule:- Flexible- Typically once per week or as needed- Approximately 3-10 hours per visit
Equipment:Property owner can provide equipment.Ideal for a responsible high school or college student looking to earn extra money while working outdoors.
