Experienced Carpenter
Stonehaven Construction – Monroe/West Monroe, LA
Stonehaven Construction is hiring an experienced carpenter to join our growing construction and remodeling team. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience who can complete carpentry work independently, accurately, and efficiently.
This is not an entry-level or helper position. Applicants should be comfortable receiving a scope of work, assessing what needs to be done, and completing the work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities & Experience
- Interior and exterior carpentry
- Framing and minor structural repairs
- Door and window installation
- Baseboards, casing, crown molding, and other finish trim
- Cabinet installation and modification
- Deck and porch construction and repairs
- Fence construction and repairs
- Siding, fascia, soffit, and exterior wood repairs
- Repair and replacement of damaged or rotten wood
- Measuring, cutting, fitting, and installing materials accurately
- Working from measurements, job scopes, and field instructions
- Identifying problems and communicating material or repair needs to the Project Manager
- Maintaining clean, organized, and professional job sites
- Working alongside other trades when necessary
Requirements
Applicants must have professional carpentry/construction experience and be able to perform carpentry work without constant supervision.
Must have:
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Own basic carpentry tools
- Ability to accurately measure and calculate material needs
- Ability to safely operate common power and hand tools
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Good communication skills
- Professional conduct in customers' homes and businesses
- Ability to travel throughout Monroe, West Monroe, and surrounding areas

Schedule & Pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday; hours may vary depending on project schedules.
Pay: Competitive and based on experience, skill level, and demonstrated ability.
