What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate (Institutional Sales) position at Stonegate Capital Partners?
Position Overview:
Stonegate is hiring an associate for the institutional sales team. This is an entry level position, but we would also consider early career finance professionals with more experience and would adjust the salary accordingly. This is an in-office position, not remote. The start date is January or February, so 2026 graduates should not apply.
Responsibilities will include:
- Marketing our clients (public companies) to institutional investors (hedge funds and mutual funds)
- Making outbound phone calls/sending emails to warm institutional accounts
- Coordinating non-deal road shows and virtual meetings for management teams
- Helping our team manage existing client relationships with C-level executives
- Creating performance reports using Ipreo and Salesforce
- Learning the business model and financial characteristics of our client companies
An associate with FINRA licenses may work with the investment banking team to raise capital for public and private companies. This is a salaried position that does not require an existing network/rolodex and compensation is not based on sales etc.
Qualifications (Required):
- Undergraduate degree in business related field (Finance, Accounting, Economics)
- Open to non-business majors when combined with relevant business experience
- 0-2 years of experience in financial services
- Must have excellent written and phone skills
- Need to be highly proficient in Microsoft Office
- Organized, dependable, team player
Qualifications (Preferred but not required):
- Experience selling financial products
- Familiarity with Salesforce, S&P CapIQ, or Ipreo
- Current FINRA licenses
