About the Role
As a Cashier and Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the final point of contact for customers, ensuring every purchase is processed smoothly and every interaction leaves a positive impression. You’ll play a key role in daily retail operations while supporting both customers and teammates.

Key Responsibilities
Cash Handling & Transactions
- Accurately scan and process customer purchases
- Handle cash, credit card, debit, and digital payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges according to company policy
- Balance register drawer and maintain transaction accuracy
Customer Service Excellence
- Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer product, pricing, and promotion questions
- Resolve basic customer concerns efficiently
- Maintain a welcoming checkout environment
Retail Operations Support
- Keep checkout area clean, organised, and stocked
- Assist with light restocking and front-end merchandising
- Follow company policies, safety standards, and loss prevention procedures
- Support team members during peak hours
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
