The successful candidate who joins our team will have a strong background in form carpentry or cabinet making and have the ability to create precise, high quality wooden forms for a variety of precast concrete products. Mold work often includes working with sealers, adhesive, epoxy coatings and rubber casting.

- Constructing wooden forms for molding of precast concrete products.
- Creating material cut lists from shop drawings, shapes material to size with hand or power tools, and joining sections with wood screws and glue to construct new molds.
- Work is done primarily indoors at our precast concrete manufacturing plant.
- The carpenter's work is fast-paced, yet precise and thorough, cutting pieces of material and installing them one piece at a time to ensure accuracy. This differs from general carpentry which does not use exacting methods.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints to create custom mold design and layouts.
- Experience with cutting accurate complex, compound miters and copings.
- Possess an excellent eye for fine detail.
- Must be very precise and exact with measurements and cutting tools.
- Possess excellent basic math skills, including fractions and angles.
- Have the ability to work largely unsupervised for long periods of time.
- Proficient with a variety of power and hand tools including a power miter saw, table saw, tape measure, square, angle gage, chisels, router, band saw, planer, drill press, panel saw, belt sander, jig saw, joiner and shaper.
- Need manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, and physical ability to perform stated duties, including a good sense of balance.
- Have the ability to work long hours to meet scheduling demands.
- Maintain a positive attitude working as team member of the mold shop supporting the needs of the production line.
- Safety minded individual with a strong safety record, adhering to all company safety rules and policies.
- Has experience working with resin-based products, including proper measuring, mixing, and application techniques to ensure quality and consistency.
